NZ Voiceover Artist – Frequently Asked Questions
How quickly can you deliver a voiceover?
As long as your script is approved and you have your approval process in place at your end, I can often turn your content around the same day or within 24 hours especially for clients in New Zealand and Australia.
Can you record from your own studio?
Most of my recording is done in my home studio but if you want me to record in another Wellington-based studio that can be arranged. Recording from my home studio means the hours I can work are greatly expanded (evenings and weekends) meaning turnaround times for you are greatly improved. My home studio uses a Røde NT1 Cardioid Condenser Microphone 5th Gen and , a Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 Audio Interface, and a treated booth suitable for broadcast‑quality recording Check out more details about my studio on this page.
Do you work with international clients?
Yes, I have worked with clients in Australia, UK, USA and even Brazil. In this digital age, and with my home studio, I can provide voiceover anywhere in the world. I can also accept credit card payments, making transactions easy for international clients - and I can generally bill in the currency of your country to make things even smoother. International clients often appreciate the NZ time zone because I can deliver overnight for UK/US teams.
What audio formats do you supply?
Typically, I provide drafts in Mp3 format and finals in .Wav. Final files are shared for download via Google Drive unless your provide a file upload link of your own. Final .WAV files are delivered broadcast‑ready unless you request raw audio.
Can you provide revisions?
My quoted price includes up to two rounds of revisions for your New Zealand voiceover project prior to final file preparation. Revisions required after that are charged at $ 75 NZD per hour.

Do you provide e-learning narration?
This is one of my most common delivery requests especially for New Zealand organisations and training providers. I have a clear yet warm delivery style that lends itself exceptionally well to this genre. You can see examples of my e-learning voiceover work in this area on this page
What does a professional New Zealand voiceover cost?
It can really vary by individual voiceover artist and narrator. I like to keep costs low by having my own studio and being able to play the role of producer, talent and editor all in one. As a result, most jobs are in the hundreds, not thousands when it comes to cost. However every job is costed out case-by-case depending on length, complexity of language, and deadline.
Are you a real human New Zealand voiceover artist?
Yes! No AI here, I’m an experienced NZ voice actor delivering authentic Kiwi tones and intonation to make your work sound really professional. AI voices stand out - and they will make your work sound cheap.
What are you like at Māori pronunciation in your voiceover?
I pride myself on careful, considerate and respectful Te Reo Māori pronunciation and can consult experts for larger scripts.
What are your voiceover usage rights?
When you work with me directly, what you pay for is yours in-pertetuity. Your recording is your content 100%
